What this website collects
Nothing directly. The enquiry forms do not send information to a server. When you use one, your browser prepares an email in your own email app, and nothing is sent until you choose to send it. If you do not send the email, no information reaches us.
The website uses no cookies, analytics, advertising tags, tracking pixels or third-party fonts. Fonts are served from the same place as the website.
Website hosting
This website is hosted by Netlify. When you visit, Netlify automatically processes standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the website and protect it from misuse. This information is not used to identify or track you. Netlify may process it outside the UK, including in the United States, under its own data protection safeguards. Read Netlify's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
Information you send by email
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and anything you write. This is used to:
- reply to your enquiry
- discuss a potential project, contract or assignment you have asked about
- keep a record of that correspondence
The lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to people who have chosen to get in touch, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Your information is not sold, shared for marketing, or added to a mailing list.
Email is received and stored using Google's Gmail service, which may process it in the UK, the European Economic Area, the United States and other countries. Read Google's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
Please do not include confidential customer or employee information in an initial enquiry.
How long information is kept
Enquiry correspondence is kept only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above. If an enquiry does not lead to any work, it is deleted when it is no longer needed. If it leads to an engagement, records are kept in line with legal and accounting obligations.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to or restrict how it is used. To make a request, email the address above. You will receive a response within one month.
If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Visit the ICO website (opens in a new tab).
